Rohit Upadhyay is a food technology professional (PhD IIT Kharagpur, MSc CFTRI) with 6+ years of progressive research experience which uniquely span across academics and multinational food companies. He is a subject matter expert in process flavor technologies (noodles, spices, fats, flavor enhancers) and lipids (specialty fats and culinary oils, and emulsifiers). Over the years he developed skills in gas-chromatography (GCMS, GC-O), IR spectroscopy, and sensory instrumentations (E-Nose, hyperspectral imaging). He has authored 25+ scientific publications, 3 IPs, and has mentored many UG/PG students for academic thesis and served voluntary international journal reviewer.
